The most radical of all hosting platforms, the dedicated servers offered by Smartest Media present different web space hosting CP alternatives: (a) Hepsia (with the Debian Linux OS exclusively; without charge; unmetered hosted TLDs; one single web hosting account login; no dedicated server root privileges; our recommendation number 1 on the basis of the presence of the cutting-edge Domain Manager – not present by default in any other web page hosting Control Panel in the whole marketplace); (b) DirectAdmin (charge-free); (c) cPanel (a monthly fee involved). Both DirectAdmin and cPanel support CentOS only; unlimited hosted TLDs; require a separate login for domain, invoicing transaction and client support ticket handling activities; server root access availability. All dedicated web hosting servers are available exclusively in the US server farm.

Control Panel ¹ - The Hepsia Control Panel is a typical accessory only in combination with the Debian Linux OS and comes at no cost. With Hepsia you can host unmetered domains in one single web hosting account. This is possible thanks to Hepsia's powerful Domain Manager section. The other Control Panel tools, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are available solely in combination with CentOS. As opposed to Hepsia, with them you have to use TWO separate user logins. This is so, since cPanel and DirectAdmin do not offer any domain name registration/transfer/management possibilities. If you choose Ubuntu as an OS for your dedicated hosting web server, there will be no hosting CP option.

Hosted Domains ² - unmetered domain names can be hosted with all offered Control Panel tools, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/manage your Top Level Domains in one hosting account. Unluckily, the cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel setups do not present such function at all - there is no Domain Manager tool and this is why they necessitate TWO different web hosting account logins: 1 domain administration/billing/support user account and 1 site management user account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel).

OS (Operating System) ³ - you will find out that the Hepsia CP can work with Debian Linux only. It's free of charge to have it on your dedicated web server. Hepsia is not offered with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin web hosting CP devices can operate solely with the CentOS Operating System. Neither of them is available with Debian or Ubuntu.
